India Set to Become World’s Third-Largest Economy, Says S&P Global

India is on track to become the third-largest economy by 2030, fueled by rapid growth and robust domestic demand, according to S&P Global’s latest report. Currently ranked fifth with a GDP of $3.7 trillion, India’s GDP growth is projected at 6.4% this fiscal year, reaching 7% by 2026. Government plans foresee India as a $30 trillion economy by 2047.
