From April 9, 2025, European travellers to the UK must receive an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) permit, which costs £ 10 (later £ 16). The aim of the new rule is to improve safety and streamline the restriction control. This applies to 30 countries, except Ireland. ETA is valid for two years and offers many registrations.
