Chinese Giant Hisense Partners with Epack to Expand in India

Hisense, a $29 billion Chinese electronics firm, partners with India’s Epack Durable to manufacture ACs and appliances. Epack will set up a new factory in Andhra Pradesh, investing to produce 1 million ACs annually by FY28. This deal, expected to generate ₹8,000 crore in five years, aims to serve both Indian and global markets by 2025.
